From CAD to solid timber

Every custom commission begins with a calibrated digital model and ends with hand-rubbed oil coats. We verify every millimeter on screen before a single cutter bit meets hardwood grain.

Virtual 3D proofing

Calibrated CNC carving

Hand-rubbed finish

We source sustainably harvested regional hardwoods—black walnut, white oak, and hard maple—kiln-dried and planed dead-flat to guarantee dimensional stability over decades.

Before any bit touches timber, you review a rendered dimensional proof showing exact relief depths, wood grain orientation, and architectural letterforms for final sign-off.

Precision ball-nose and v-carve cutters execute the programmed toolpaths across multiple clearing passes, establishing clean stepped transitions and crisp chamfers.

Machined parts are thoroughly hand-sanded to 320 grit, followed by three deep coats of penetrating non-toxic plant oils and protective hardwax buffed to a quiet satin sheen.

Client assurance

Confidence before carving

Reviewing the 3D proof caught a scale issue on our storefront sign before carving started. The delivered white oak piece matched the mockup down to the grain.

Ordering a custom mantle relief felt daunting until we saw the rendering. Knowing the exact depth and lettering gave us complete peace of mind.
